How to Set User Permissions for Amazon Assistant Account

Created by Diana Miller, Modified on Fri, 3 May at 7:55 AM by Brian Cummings

We ask all Amazon seller clients for limited access to view inventory and manage FBA shipments within their Seller Central account. Although optional, this is highly recommended as it allows us to troubleshoot problems and issues on their behalf when creating FBA shipping plans.

With limited access, all sensitive account data remains invisible to us and access can be cancelled at any time.

Before granting permissions, clients must invite Prep It Pack It Ship It as a user within their Seller Central Account. Please contact us if you have yet to do so.

To see user permissions, please login to your Amazon Seller Central account and follow these steps:

1. Select Settings in the upper right-hand corner, then select User Permissions from the dropdown menu.

2. Find Prep It Pack It Ship It in the list and select Manage Permissions

3. In the Inventory section, find "Manage FBA Inventory/Shipments" and "Manage Inventory/Add a Product". Select the button in the View & Edit column for each of these (see image below).

4. At the bottom of the page select the yellow Continue button.

5. The new changes will be highlighted. Retun to the bottom of the page and select Continue again. That's it; you are done.

A brief video about changing user permissions is available on our website. Look for the video entitled Assistant Account.
